Economy twin room was well decorated and new-fashioned. The hotel was well-run and comfortable and in a central location not far from the center, the harbour, nice restaurants and supermarkets, and shops and restaurants. Besides, it was 10 min drive to Clarehall Shopping Centre...

During our stay at Verkshotellet, we were pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the staff. The room we stayed in had a picturesque view of the fjord, and the size was just right for us. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant and were impressed by the variety of hot dishes offered at breakfast. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the simple room amenities and the limited TV channels, the overall experience was delightful. We appreciated the convenient parking arrangement and the accessibility for wheelchair users. The location of the hotel was perfect for our visit to Preikestolen, and the free pick-up shuttle provided by Outdoorlife Norway was a bonus. we highly recommend Verkshotellet for its friendly staff, proximity to Preikestolen, and cozy ambiance.
